What are F1, F1B & F3 Labradoodles?

What is F1, F1B and F3 (Multi Generation)?

                                           F1 Labradoodles:
Basically what that means is they are 50% Poodle and 50% Labrador Retriever. Though they shed less than most breeds they do shed some. First generation Labradoodles have a 50% chance to be more like the Poodle and have low to no shedding, curly or wavy coat and a 50% chance they will be more like the Lab and have a sleek shiny, shedding coat.

                                 F1B Labradoodle:
75%  Poodle and 25% Labrador Retriever.
This is a labradoodle bred back to a poodle. (Could also be bred back to a labrador but we chose to breed back to a poodle for the hypo-allergenic qualities.) They have wavier, curlier coats and are low to non-shedding, making them great for most allergy sufferers! This is the generation of our puppies. The father of our puppies is a 10 lb mini red poodle and the maternal grandfather is also a mini red poodle. The mother and grand-mother are mini labradoodles.

                                     F3 (Multi Generation) Labradoodle
                                            F1B X F1b or F1b X Poodle:
Consistently non-shedding with wavy/curly fleece coats, making them excellent for allergy sufferers.
